Conwy Castle

The castle itself is not pet friendly, however you can stroll along the small section of the castle walls high path for a whistle stop tour (although if you have a small dog with you, be prepared to carry them in parts where the wooden slats are a little wide apart for little paws).

Conwy Quayside

An ideal place to visit as part of your short break. Many of the pubs and cafes welcome dogs and children so there are plenty of places to stop and take five. Our favourite pubs in Conwy are The Liverpool Arms on the quay an The Albion.

Aber Falls

A five minute drive off Junction 13 of the A55. This is a lovely walk with an incredible waterfall at the end of the walk. There are plenty of free parking spaces along the road leading to the falls, you will also find public loos there, too.

Bodnant Gardens

An 80 acre National Trust garden above the river Conwy. There are two gardens here, The Dell and The Upper Garden. During the months of: May, June, July and August dogs are permitted on Wednesdays between 5pm and 8pm. During: November, December, January and February, dogs are welcome all day, every day! We recommend you call Bodnant on 01492 650 460 before visiting to check the dog access times.

There are beautiful lakes in the Conwy Valley: Llyn Elsi, Llyn Crafnant and Llyn Gerionedd all dog friendly.
